How long does paint protection film last?
Quality film properly installed typically lasts 8–10 years or more, with manufacturer warranty coverage against yellowing, cracking, and delamination. We'll go over the exact warranty terms for your chosen film at quote time.
Can you see the film on the car?
Gloss film is nearly invisible once installed — most people can't spot it without being told where to look. On Full Front and larger packages, edges are wrapped or fall on natural panel lines, so there are no visible seams in the middle of panels.
Does PPF damage paint when removed?
No — on factory paint in good condition, professionally installed film removes cleanly. It's actually preserving the paint underneath, which is why film-protected panels look brand new when the film comes off years later.
PPF or ceramic coating — which should I get?
If rock chips are your worry (highway commuting, gravel roads, following trucks), PPF. If washing, gloss, and UV protection matter most, ceramic coating. For most daily drivers, the answer is front-end film plus a full-vehicle coating. We're happy to recommend based on your actual driving.
How should I care for the film?
Wait about a week after installation before washing, then wash normally with pH-neutral soap. Avoid pressure-washing directly at film edges. A ceramic coating over the film makes maintenance even easier.
