Washington Tint Law
Washington State allows 24% VLT (visible light transmission) or lighter on all side and rear windows for passenger cars, and darker films on the rear of SUVs and trucks. Windshields may carry a non-reflective strip above the AS-1 line.

Tint FAQ
How long until I can roll my windows down?
Give the film 2–4 days before rolling windows down, depending on weather. The moisture used in installation needs time to fully cure out. Slight haziness or small water pockets in the first days are normal and disappear as it cures.
What shade should I choose?
Most customers land between 20% and 35% VLT on side windows. We have shade samples in the shop — the best way to choose is to see them on real glass. We'll also make sure your choice is legal for your vehicle type in Washington.
Does ceramic tint really make a difference vs. cheap tint?
Yes — dramatically. Dyed film darkens glass but does little against heat, and it fades purple within a few years. Ceramic film physically blocks infrared heat, holds its color for the life of the vehicle, and carries a real warranty.
Will tint interfere with my electronics?
No. Unlike old metallic films, ceramic and carbon films contain no metal layer, so GPS, cell signal, radio, and toll transponders work exactly as before.
